Yuletide Greetings - A GIVE AWAY!

I've shared quite a few of these wool felt ornaments that I've made this season here on my blog - and I thought what better way to really share than to have a give-away and give one of them away! Plus, it's been a long time since I had a give away on my blog so I decided it was time.

I spent a little bit of time this morning in my studio before getting my day started making these little lovelies to use as package decorations on my gifts this year. I'll have to make some more now that I'm giving one of them away, but that's ok since I love making them.

Leave a comment for me on this post telling me what you're favorite holiday tradition is -- and I'll pick a winner on Wednesday -- that's December 15th!

Thanks for stopping by - Good LUCK!

Edited to Add: Make sure you leave your email address or a way for me to contact you if you are a winner!

  1. omw-Catherine I love these ornaments...so homespun vintage feel!!! I love anything woolfelt!! My favorite tradition is stuffing my girls Stockings for Christmas, I really pack them full, I know alot of people don't do stockings. But see when I was a child we didn't have alot of money, we were farmers-so only 1 gift under the tree (that would kill some kids today) but my mother would fill our stockings plum full and simple items (like-toothbrushes, caryons, candy)etc. and we could open them before our parents got up!!! So I have passed that down to my girls-we hear them at 4 am going down to get them..and it makes my heart melt..for not having alot when I was young, having a full stocking I thought I was rich...it's a good feeling to know that my mom's tradition and love is being passed on.
Merry Christmas-I would love one of your beautiful gems..heheheh

  2. how adorable are those? I especially like the one with the pearl and lace. So pretty. Happy Holidays to you and yours.

Every year, December 11th is our tree trimming day. It is the day my husband proprosed - - and he did it while I was decorating our Christmas tree, using a glass ornament to 'showcase' my engagement ring - so it made sense for that day and that event to be our first holiday tradition. That was in 1998 and it's been done (almost) every year since.

  11. Your ornaments are so beautiful Catherine. Such a lovely vintage feel about them.

A breakfast of home baked ham, poached eggs and toast on Christmas morning before opening the presents is a childhood tradition of mine which we still do. Can taste that ham and eggs already!
